Dangers of LPG
LPG is dangerously explosive in a confined space which can be ignited by a naked flame (such as a pilot light), a spark (from electrical switch or engine) or even by a hot surface (engine exhaust manifold). An LPG gas detector is therefore essential in all motorhomes, caravans and boats using LPG.
The Amos LPG alarm uses advanced semiconductor technology to detect the presence of gas long before the gas reaches dangerous levels.
The alarm is very light and easy to install and is designed for all household situations.
It is particularly useful where appliances may have been left unattended and where there is a risk of gas flames blowing out and in instances where the appliance has not been lit. Although mainly used for gas cookers it can also be used to protect fires.
